POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment Method:
Please be prepared
to settle the balance of your account on arrival
by certified cheque or cash.
Reservations:
We require a 50% deposit per person upon booking.
Please mail your cheque, payable to Avalon Eco Resort.
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first
served basis. You do not have a reservation unless
your deposit is received and confirmed by us in
writing.
All rates quoted are in Canadian currency. Foreign
currencies accepted at prevailing bank rates.
Substitutions:
We reserve the right to substitute accommodations
and/or equipment should the need arise due to circumstances
beyond our control.
Refunds:
No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
No credit given if facilities offered or equipment
arranged for is not used.
Cancellations:
A $100.00 cancellation charge applies to all cancellations.
The balance of your deposit is returned to you provided
a 60 day notice of cancellation is received..
Check-In - Check-Out:
Check-in time is 3:00 P.M.. Check-out time is 11:00
A.M. If you arrive sooner, please be prepared to
wait. Late check-out charge is $30.00/hour or part.
No Shows:
Guests not showing up at the prearranged time and
date without giving notice by phone or mail constitute
“no shows” and will be held liable for 100% of the
total value of their reservation.
Visitations:
Please advise your visitors to register at the reception
each time they visit. There is a $5.00 charge per
person per day, regardless of age. No visitors after
10:00 P.M. We reserve the right to limit the number
of visitors as well as the frequency of visitations.
Damages:
All damages to Avalon Eco Resort property and/or
malfunctioning equipment must be reported immediately.
Guests are fully responsible for all damages and
losses to boats, motors and other equipment. Please
note that broken, bent or nicked propellers, skegs,
or lower units, caused by a collision with submerged
objects, does not constitute “normal wear and tear”.
Liability:
Avalon Eco Resort and its’ owners will not be held
liable for any damages, injuries or losses incurred
by our guests while on the property or while operating
our boats and motors. Guests are responsible for
the actions and safety of their children and visitors.
Our resort is for the exclusive use of our registered
guests and is to be used at their own risk. We do
not employ a life guard.
We have a no pet policy. No fireworks. No firearms.
